Springs Supplier

Heatfastener is a Springs supplier and manufacturer for all your spring needs. Heat Fasteners, an industrial spring manufacturer, factory, supplies a wide range of Springs. We can also make your nut per your size and plating specifications. Our Spring line has many different materials as well. From plastic, stainless steel, aluminum, exotic metals, various grades of steel, and much more, we can supply your Spring with the material you need.

Spring is a metal wire that has a quite good elastic property by which it compresses extends or rotates as the force is applied to the spring components. A spring mechanism can exert pressure, rotational force, or pulling in some ways. Spring mechanism involvement gives the product advantage for different application purposes

Our Pring line includes the following:

  • Coil Spring
  • Spring Bar
  • Torsion Spring
  • Tension Spring
  • Compression Spring
  • Helical Compression Spring
  • Garter Spring
  • Helical Extension Spring
  • Spring Belt
  • Leaf Spring

Types Of Spring

coil spring is a mechanical device that is typically used to store energy and subsequently release it, absorb shock, or maintain a force between contacting surfaces. They are made of an elastic material formed into the shape of a helix which returns to its natural length when unloaded. Under tension or compression, the material (wire) of a coil spring undergoes torsion. The spring characteristics, therefore, depend on the shear modulus.

Spring bars or Watches Bar are small pieces of metal that are used to hold watch straps in place. Normally, there are two of them, but occasionally, a strap may have four or even six spring bars on it.

torsion spring is a spring that works by twisting its end along its axis; that is, a flexible elastic object that stores mechanical energy when it is twisted. When it is twisted, it exerts torque in the opposite direction, proportional to the amount (angle) it is twisted. A torsion spring is commonly used in clothes pins, clipboards, swing-down tailgates, and garage doors. Other application types include hinges, counterbalances, and lever returns. Sizes range from miniature, used in electronic devices, to large torsion springs used in chair control units

A tension spring is wound helical coils that are wrapped tightly together to create tension. Also called an extension spring, a tension spring provides extended force when the spring is pulled apart from its original length. The main function of a tension spring is to allow for an outside force to create tension, and then use this energy to pull the components back together by reverting to their original shape. Tension springs are typically wound very tightly and are coiled closely together when at rest.

Compression springs are coil springs that hold mechanical energy in their compressed states. When these springs experience a compression load, they compress and become shorter, capturing and storing significant potential force. Compression spring uses in automobiles include springs in the seats to yield to the body and increase comfort, springs in the suspension to absorb the rough shocks of the road as the car drives along, and even springs that provide support for automotive hoses.
